What Does a Productive Daily LinkedIn Routine Look Like?

Here is an ultra-easy, step-by-step guide on using LinkedIn as a focused and determined creator.

What Does a Productive Daily LinkedIn Routine Look Like?

STEP 1: Look at the comments on your recent posts and your relevant DMs. Respond to the relevant ones.

STEP 2: Send connection requests. Send them not only to prospects but also to people who interacted with your content but aren’t yet your connections.

STEP 3 (2x per week): Write a post that emotionally engages and excites you. You shouldn’t be bored by your own content.

STEP 4: Look at your feed. Unfollow people who share irrelevant content, and comment on the relevant posts.

STEP 5 (optional): Send private messages to relevant first-degree connections and ask them for a meeting.

DANGERS TO AVOID:

  • Constantly checking the LinkedIn app: It’s okay to check it just once a day.

  • Procrastinating on the feed: You are procrastinating when you scroll without taking any action, such as commenting.

  • Using LinkedIn less than 4x a week.

  • Sending fewer than 100 connection requests weekly: This is the weekly limit for most users, so take advantage of it.

  • Publishing only popular content without any professional substance.

  • Publishing content that lacks your personality.

  • Doing all of the above on a non-optimized profile.

Set a goal. For me, it’s 20 relevant business meetings monthly with less than 15 minutes of daily effort, plus building a reputation as a global LinkedIn communication expert. What is your goal?
